Sunday thoughts

24. As a little girl, I thought Daddy was God. I seriously considered the possiblity that he could be Jesus Christ Returned and spent some time debating whether I should let people know - as they seemed to be waiting for Him to come back. Fortunately, I decided not too as I might get laughed at.

25. I sang hymns every schoolday for 17 years. My favourite, in primary school, was 'Stand Up, Stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross'. As a tomboy, trying desperately to compete with my big brother, I thought Jesus was a star for accepting me as a soldier. (Hilarious, when I think about it now). Second best favourite was 'Jerusalem'.

26. I'm a bit of a Hindu, and possibly a Buddhist. My boyfriend, who has Indian Hindu amongst his many origins, says I'm more Indian than him. I read books on chakras, the Bagvhad Gita and so on. The most sensible things I've read about Jesus & co were written by Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Han. Lately, I've been entertaining the thought that maybe there is no God or maybe there is but he's lost interest in us all.
