30. I like living near the sea. One of the reasons I chose to live in Amsterdam is that it's only half an hour by train from the coast. I used to go nearly every weekend to Zandvoort and walk right down to the far end, to the second pathway up through the sand dunes to enjoy what I called a 'hill experience'- stand on the top and look down at the beach.
31. I like hills. After two or three months of being in flat, flat Holland, I have to go somewhere, anywhere to see a hill.

Ummm. Know what you mean. The only consolation to the view of Congo River from my office is knowing for sure that it leads to the sea. And there's something sensual about hills.

I didn't just get here - I've been here all along since I got the site address. I keep reading it in huge chunks of backlog postings when I have time. It is truly amazing. "Congo"
