I'm drained. Conference calls are the pits. Particularly when no-one on the call has anything to say. Why bother? Just cancel the call and let me loose on my blog for an hour - it would stimulate more creativity… Sigh. Think I have to head for the sandwich bar to revive my flagging spirits with an orange juice or something. I found a blog called Spain, about an American who's moved to Barcelona but doesn't seem too overjoyed. "To the people here, you're nothing if you're not Catalan," he says. Funny, that was exactly my impression - both on my trip to Barcelona this summer and on a visit to Catalonia three or four years ago. Great city to visit though.
