Shut up and give

I think it's wonderful how people around the world have rallied to the call to raise funds for SE Asia.

I think it's great that companies and governments back that call too.

But it does make me want to spit to see how they're falling over themselves to cash in on the public relations opportunity this offers. Big corporations want to be seen to be doing good. And the US government is, as usual, excelling itself. Come on Powell, don't make a big issue of the fact that you've chipped in with some more cash. Just DO it man and thank your lucky stars you're alive. There's something deeply tasteless about trying to shine in this situation.

Now, back to work for the big International Bakery...
