Let's dance...

Well, the housewife stuff didn't get much further than shopping and cooking. Two top purchases of the day were a beautiful orange pumpkin and a rather swish Braun kettle. So at least we can now boil water quickly again - we've been heating it up in a pan since the last kettle started leaking. (JJ, what sort of household are you in, dear?...)

We decided not to go out and, instead, I've been surfing around Bristol online. Had a look at Bristol City Council's jobs page, didn't find anything, but ended up somehow on a website that promotes writing and poetry contests, called TooWrite.com.

And I found this piece, the winning entry for Competition 10, written by Shirley Anne McCormick in Ontario, Canada. It's so moving, it's really worth the read. Take a look: The Anniversary Waltz.

Isn't that just beautiful?
