I think it's lovely, myself. Spent hours fiddling around with colours and font sizes. I've even set up a second 'Mirror Picc' blog as a testing ground. For the time being, this is it. If you miss the old look, then just click on 'comments' (and leave a comment!) - I've left the sub pages as they were for the moment. All of this has been inspired by my frivolous 'Picc in Pink' day - still to be seen by clicking on the comments on 'Think Pink'.
If I've got the energy - am feeling lousy again - I'll paste some details on Mirror Picc of what bits of code you have to cut and paste in order to change the colours. Just for those who're not already html experts. And only for those of you who're rash enough to want to fritter away a few hours on such trivialities! Yep, I'm just one big kid having fun here...

I like this look.
Love the new colors. It feels like you have just dyed your hair an assertive burgundy, or finally come out of a period of introspection into claiming yourself. Yeah, that's it. This feels like your blog "coming out." The subtitle knows who you are now, the colors do... you're not a rookie any more. I loved the white-on-white feel of your original -- but this new look is very October. I'm down with it.
Great idea about Mirror Picc as well. I'll shoot over there sometime to get the tech tips.
