Just took a sneak look at 'Write Thinking' - see link below right (I'll remember how to do html links one of these days; Mac is a bit basic when it comes to blogging). I read one of the previous posts and found it most inspiring. The one that talks about how you're supposed to visualise the success you want instead of scuppering yourself by imagining what you're going to say when you fail. I've been rehearsing my 'why I couldn't finish this paper' speech for some time now, even imaginging the awful prospect of either (a) failing the whole course or (b) postponing the paper until next year.
I have to stop doing this. I have to start imagining that I'm handing in the best draft paper ever this coming Wednesday.
Or is that just another delaying tactic?
