Skype's a bit like e-mail used to be when it started (can anyone remember when that was?) You suddenly want to find people to call. So you spend half an hour trailing through the Skype contacts section and discover that your old boss - one of the many - is in there. Should you ring him? Of course you shouldn't. But you COULD. You have his number. So why not? What would you SAY? Hello Flint, how are you? You may not remember me/may prefer not to remember me but well, for some reason that escapes me, I just wondered what had happened to you and found your unmistakable full name in Skype so, well, you know how it goes, just pressed the green button. Flint, Flint, you're still there? CLUNK. Hmmm.
