While Holland tries to dampen down it's 'War on Terror' - we're now calling it a 'fight' after a Moslim school was bombed, fortunately with no casualties, the day after a top government minister issued the war declaration - I'm declaring war on the Aruban mosquito. I know they're lying in wait for me.
Now, thanks to the Year of Leisure weblog of intrepid traveller, Shana, in Argentina, I've heard of a bug guard that can beat off the little devils. Avon's Skin So Soft line includes a special sun and anti-bug lotion as well as a corresponding spray. UN-fortunately, they don't seem to have a presence in the Netherlands and I can't find that product on their UK or German websites. So now I'm calling Avon...If they can get it to me before we fly, they have a sale.
