We got here to the ' One happy island' of Aruba. It's hot, sunny, but also raining so we're lucky to have found this internet cafe down by the harbour. Amri's just had a beer at the Japanese sushi place next door but has now come in out of the rain. Rain in Aruba is a rare treat. The locals aren't too happy about it - and the tourist people won't be shouting about it too much - but for a Brit who can't stand the heat, it's bliss!
So when it stops raining, we'll be off to the beach again. Swimming in a warm sea is a rare treat too. Doing a bit of touring in our hire car and a lot of good wining and dining with Amri's family. I could get used to this....Having fun working out what the papers say in Papiemento and I'm even managing to catch a bit of the conversation.
