Still sniffing and coughing away here but the cold is showing signs of going. Lots of hot tea and lemon helped. Unfortunately, we had no whisky in house to help it along.
Can't spend long on line now. Got a list an arm's length of jobs to do before leaving for Aruba tomorrow morning:
Get blood test done: Done
Extend insurance from Europe to worldwide: Done
Get Bud on that insurance even though he insists he's from Aruba and doesn't need it. Done
Check that my Postbank pin card will work in Aruba (otherwise: no money). Done
Buy biscuits and raisins in case of sudden hunger on board plane. Done
Buy water. Done
Put driving licence with passport. Done
Arrange for neighbour to look at post. Bud's sorting that out now
Get hair cut so it looks like it has some semblance of style in it. Still to do!!!
Buy liquorice allsorts for Bud's brother-in-law.
Buy detective novel for Bud's sister.
Buy sweets from Jamin's for the kids in the family.
Get a pair of shorts!
Buy some deck shoes if I can find them.
Decide what clothes to take. OH mG, that'll take three hours at least.
Iron clothes.
Pack.
