I feel like a ham and cheese croissant. Might just give in to temptation. Somehow a cold, bright orange juice just doesn't do it for me right now. It's my last working day of the week and enthusiasm is at a very low ebb.
Last night I read the Prioress's Tale in the Canterbury Tales and was shocked to see what a bigoted, anti-semitic thing it was. Those Middle-Age pilgrims were a strange lot. The other stories were much more fun - all about monks getting into bed with absent husbands' wives.
