Drinking like a fish...

I have an hour or so to myself. Bud's just dashed out of the house to go and buy a book on Java, having spent all afternoon trying to reinstall the Java version that he spent 10 hours uninstalling last weekend!

I'm back from the market where I've bought tuna fish, red snapper and some walnut halves - all good stuff. Also gave way to my book buying compulsion (again) and came back with a book on how we should all drink more water. I was going to leave it but the girl in the shop saw me browsing through it and told me it had changed her life and cured her in a matter of weeks from chronic wrist pain. I don't have chronic wrist pain, or any other pain for that matter (my own recent health condition was painless and symptomless) but I am interested in the possibility that the lines under my eyes could be due to dehydration rather than the irreversible onset of general decrepitude! So I bought the book out of (a) weakness - I'm a compulsive book buyer, remember and (b) vanity.

Now I have a dilemma: how do I boost my water intake while also continuing to drink lots of green tea - which the author of my latest acquisition doesn't count as water? I'll be running to the loo all day.

Is it possible to drink four cups of green tea and two litres of water per day without drowning? Has anyone tried it?
