It's truly heartwarming to read on internet that families and couples and singles across America are offering their homes to those made homeless by the hurricane. The contrast with the government's response could hardly be greater. I think it just goes to show that the ordinary man in the street CAN make a difference. In fact, it's ONLY the ordinary man in the street who's going to make a difference. Politicians aren't going to save us.
I take my hat off to you. And I'm going to cheer myself up by thinking about the warm, good people there are in the world rather than continuing to gripe.
