Yes! We went back to the English restaurant tonight and I just took a light starter and a little salad so there'd be room for the apple and raisin crumble with icecream that I'd spotted on Monday night. It was simply delicious. Who says there are no restaurants where you can enjoy the best of English cuisine? It was more expensive than the Vietnamese/Thai place we went to last night but still well worth it. The rest of the group was happy so that's two successes chalked up with my name on. It'll be the last meal for a while as we're all going our separate ways again tomorrow night.
The course has been a bit dire this time round. I feel they're not really helping us get ahead with preparing the next assignment. In fact, I feel as though I don't have TIME to spend three days listening to lectures that aren't directly relevant to the assignment topic. Have just had a look at the calendar and found that my schedule is, well, impossible for the next month. It's going to be interesting.
In the meantime, I have the memory of a good night out and a yummy apple crumble.
