Breakfast with Seneca

Nevermind breakfast TV. Actually I've not checked if they even have it in Holland. Sat on my sofa this morning munching a piece of toast and blackcurrant jam and dipping into the musings of Seneca who lived around the time of JC (it was the English translation, by the way, my Latin doesn't go much further than 'amo', 'amas', 'amat' these days). He seemed to be worrying about whether it was wrong to hope that people would read your words once you're gone - whether he was giving in to vanity by harbouring such evil desires.

Well, he needn't have worried...
