I'm cheating on Picc. I've started another blog, under another user name, with only one purpose: to help me get my wretched assignment done. It's the dullest thing you could imagine (the blog, I mean, though you could say the same about the assignment). But I thought it might help, just to keep a record of what I've been doing - if only to give me some idea of how the precious time I've got left to do it in is actually being spent. It also serves as a reminder of what I've downloaded, where it's stored and what documents I've already hunted for or given up on.
It makes absolutely riveting reading. And it may not last beyond April.
It also feels like a completely different place to ol Picc. I come back here and it feels a bit like home. There's quite possible noone else here but it feels like the sort of place that always has a friend or two around. I can come and visit you via the links on the right. The new place is just a webboard, just a working thing that may or may not help. If it works well, I'll move ahead faster and get this paper done. If it works like blogs can, it'll slow me down as I try instead to make the blog interesting rather than to use it for what it is - just another web tool.
We shall see. Anyway, it feels a bit like I'm cheating on Picc. So I came back here just to say Good night.
