An apple you can't bite....

I've bought a Mac. A little 12 inch notebook. The idea is that I'll use it to write my assignments on. But I already know I'm going to take it secretly to the nearest Starbucks cafe and BLOG! Other than that, I can tell you that it's now looking like another gorgeous sunny day in Amsterdam; I don't feel one bit like studying (well, maybe one bit but not much more); Bud will be coming back from the dentist any minute now; he got up in a grump and we had a little slanging match over breakfast but he is largely responsible for the fact that I now actually have my hands on an Apple - they seem to be in short supply here. We went to three dealers in town to get it. You Americans would be horrified: two shops told me it would take one to two weeks to deliver the model I'd gone for. Mind you, I ended up buying a better model so I suppose their sales ploy worked. That's it for now.
