I was offered another job today, within the international bakery here in the Lowlands. Being head-hunted does wonders for your ego. Just a pity that the post is in a speciality area that's about as dull as a piece of German schwarzbrot (black bread). Even the mention of the department's name puts me to sleep. Plus points are that it's a high profile team, hovering just below the Managing Board. It's new, has financial backing and offers prospects for becoming a bigger and better communications bod. Down side is that it would mean committing to being here for another year - and that also puts me to sleep.
