Monday morning again. Grey sky. Grey office buildings. How many people in northern Europe are currently sitting in grey office buildings under a grey sky, waiting for enthusiasm to wake up and join them?
Amazing what a ham and cheese croissant and a hot cup of black tea can do to pump life into your brain. Good ol' sandwich bar. I've written the first draft of an article that's going to be part of the centrepiece of 'my' magazine.
Doubly amazing: I've got a comment from Rachel! Wow. Blogging begins to get interesting...
Can anyone remember how we managed before internet and google?

JJ -- Thanks for the comments and the link to my site. While you sit in your grey Monday office, I am about to go to sleep in our black wet rainy Sunday night. I'll check out some of your other blog links tomorrow. Keep them coming...
JJ -- Well, now it's my morning and you're asleep. Just wanted to let you know I've added your blog to my links. It was the ham and cheese croissant and hot balck tea that got me. Those have sustained me in Australia, Denmark, Wales, Poland, Russia.. When the great wave of the Empire recedes, Rome left us roads... England left us English and tea.. the US will have left us sitcoms and the internet. Hmm. It's getting more ephemeral. And Tibet, without ever leaving its lamastery until it was forced to, gave us peace.
Well, you've certainly seen the world - even more of it than the Romans did. Funny you mention them. I often marvel at the fact that, despite being something of a globetrotter myself, I've spent 95% of me life within the boundaries of the former Roman Empire. And those guys got around on foot and by horse and cart. Am honoured to be added to your links. Hell, I'll have to keep the blog going now and find something to say! Good day to you.
